I have an appointment with the Dentist at 4pm which is like 1 hour and 15 mins away. I hate goint to the dentist, I hate the scratching noise of that metal pointy thing they put in my mouth and the rubber taste of the gloves that the dentist wears.
How can I not be scared? Because I'm 16 and it is kind of pathetic that I'm still scared of the dentist lol :-)

Um, well my friend was like that so she started taking her ipod with her and listened to it while they were working lol sounds funny but she said it helped her. :)
Kelly beat me to it. Listen to music and just concentrate on it. Tell your dentist your worries and goodluck!

Like everyone else said listen to ur music or think about something other than what the doctor is doing.
I can't think of anything else off the top of my head right now though lol.
It isn't pathetic either I know people who are way older than u are that are afraid of the dentist. You'll live :)
