Unexplained itching in Hodgkins lymphoma, how long does it last?

    I've never heard of this. I think you should consult your Oncologist. Good luck

    My fiance has diffuse large B-cell lymphoma and had the itching as one of his initial symptoms. It got increasingly worse, especially on his legs. We used both Gold Bond and Benadryl cream, which gave him some relief, and an oatmeal bath. We also tried Gold Bond powder, but it irritated his coughing, which was already bad from the tumor in his chest. We talked to the oncologist at our next appointment and were told it was very common. He had already started the chemotherapy treatment by that time and the symptoms disappeared a few days later. The cream and bath helped relieve the irritation, but the itching wasn't fully gone until after the chemotherapy started to work. Keep your head up, talk to your oncologist, and good luck.
