I have a ton of trouble falling asleep at night...I get tired, but I get really restless and can't relax then. I also get worried about not being able to fall asleep-so I end up staying up even later! What can I do to help myself relax enough to sleep at night? What do you do when you can't sleep? Any advice before it gets too late tonight so I could try it would be best...thank you!

    A warm shower or bath
A massage if you have a partner
    Masturbation
I snack on a small bowl of Total cereal about an hour before bed--I know you're not supposed to but I think the milk helps
Reading, soft music--I like listening to CDs of rain and thunderstorms

    Nothing brilliant, sorry.

I used to have the sameeee problem and it was aweful because i would worry sooo much and it would make me stay up foreverrr. DONT look at a clock. ull focus on how much time its taking u to fall asleep which just makes u stay up longer. If your unaware of the time then you wont know how long uve been trying to fall asleep for which is good because if u see more and more time go by im guessing u freak more(like me). Tylenol PM are really good pills and theyll definitely get u to sleep. i took 2 a night for a couple days then lessened it to one a night then id only take half a pill a night till finally i didnt take any at all. U dont want to make yourself you think you NEED pills to fall aslepp thought so gradually decrease ur amounts till u dont use it at all. if u get it in your head that u cant sleep trust me ull stay up forever just try to relax,,lavender scents help. And i always fall asleep with my tv on a low volume idk it helps:)

Try doing yoga an hour before your planned bed time. It unwinds you and help you relax so by the time you're ready for bed, your body is relieved of many tensions, knots and you are at ease.
