I personally wouldn't do it because on average you may get around 6 hours of sleep right? That is risking TSS. I wouldn't do it. Good luck! :)

Wearing tampons to bed?

So long as you change it before you go to sleep and as soon as you get up it's fine.
I personally prefer to wear tampons at night than pads, I find pads really uncomfortable and I can't even sleep when I'm wearing them!
But it's down to personal preference. Try it both ways and see which is more convenient and easier for you.Posted 2 years ago # -
you can wear tampons for up to 8 hrs. i'd recommend a pad because i have only leaked while sleeping, and it's best to alternate tampons with pads to lessen your chances of TSS.

It's very unsafe. Toxic shock syndrome is no joke - it has been known to kill girls. Your tampon has an 8 hour limit. Now, it's safe to say that the best way to sleep while on your period is with your pad. No toxic shock syndrome. No problems.

The biggest problem with wearing tampons to bed, is that you need to change them ever 6-8 hours depending on the tampon, and hopefully you should be sleeping more then that. If you are planning on sleeping 7 hours, it's really not going to make you sick, but you should change it as soon as you wake up.

No, but you may need a pad as well the first few days.

I suggest you wear a pad to bed. Just in case you over sleep and end up leaving it in for more than 8 hours. Plus, I don't know how safe it is to use a tampon all the time (day and night).

It's okay to wear a tampon to bed. I would suggest tampons too. Pads are messy and you don't want to wake up with blood in your pajamas. 0_o
I would just take out the tampon right when you wake upPosted 2 years ago # -
perfectly safe to do
just change it right before heading to bed
and as soon as you wake uptrust me if it gets full it will hurt and wake you up
i have worn one by accident for 12 hours and nothing happened
done that more than once16 isnt all that late for tampons either i was 18
been wearing them for 14 years nowPosted 2 years ago # -
I prefer tampons at night because pads get messy. If you sleep straight through the night for more then 6 hours I'd suggest pads just to be on the safe side. Make sure you change it before you go to bed and when you wake up.
