Need help guys! lol. My husband since yesterday has said he has a weird chemical-metallic type taste in his mouth (more chemical tasting than metallic) and has no idea what's going on. has anyone heard of this or had this, and what was it? Can anyone find any links on it? I just worry because if it's chemical tasting that maybe he got something in his system that could be harmful. Just wondering if anyone has any clue about this. He says he would describe it more as a chemical taste than a metallic taste. Could dental problems cause this? I'm just wondering what all info I can find on it,because I've tried looking it up and found absolutely nothing. Any help guys?

Look up Pine Mouth. Ask if he has had any pine nuts lately or anything with Pesto in it. A friend of mine had some pine nuts on a salad and had pine mouth for 2 weeks. It's a metalic pine-like taste in your mouth. Supposedly, the pine nuts imported from China can cause this in some cases.
