It could help you to take some naps during the day but it really varies from person to person.
When I was working evenings in a bar I found that if I took naps in the afternoon it just made me more tired as I was having to wake up all over again.
Having said that I know a lot new parents talk about the benefits of taking lots of naps.
I'd say give it a try, if it doesn't work for you try just staying in bed longer on a morning, or even try something more obvious like drinking strong coffee or pro-plus tablets.

Taking a quick power nap refreshes your body. So instead of chugging down coffee i suggest a nap.

Naps are extremely great to take, but only take ones that are less than 30 minutes. They improve concentration, give you a small boost of energy, and reduce the amount of sleepiness you feel later on.
More than 30 minutes though, and you're hurting yourself, well at least in the aspect you're asking about....

Napping is the best option if you have it. I like to think of my cats and dog.. they sleep all day and are always awake and refreshed when its time to play :-)
