Air Optix Aqua are very comfortable and healthy lenses. They are very breathable which helps with your hypoxia. They also have a great surface treatment that resists deposits and keeps the lens moist. Another breathable option that you could inquire about is the Biofinity lens from Coopervision. In my experience, my patients who have issues with dryness do better with this lens than the Air Optix. Make sure to ask your eye doctor about GPC (giant papillary conjuctivitis) as this could be the cause of your dryness symptoms. If that is the case, then a daily disposable lens would be your best option.

Well, it is a lower water content lens, so it is better for dry eyes than many other brands, but the only way to know for sure if they are right for you will be to get trial lenses and try them.

They aren't a cure all lens for everyone , but they may work better for you.
