So I got this thing with my braces, a jasper jumper, and it works like a piston It attaches my top and bottom teeth and is connected on my right side. The thing is, the end of that thing keeps stabbing me, and i looked in the mirror and saw that it actually made like a hole. It hurts a lot and i can barely eat. My cheek is inflamed now and its killing me. how can i fix this? 10 points best answer.

You can't fix it, your orthodontist has to adjust it. Call him tonight and go back tomorrow AM at the latest. Slurp soft food, take Ibuprofen as directed for inflammation and pain, rinse with warm salt water and pack some moistened cotton or gauze between the cheek and the pokey.

You can not fix it. Go to the orthodontist who put it in and tell him to fix it.

You have to go to your orthodontist. Book an emergency appt as soon as possible. Meanwhile try sucking on an ice block or something nice and cool. Try soft, smooth foods too, it might feel a bit better. Or even try putting something like a bit of tissue or something between your check and the jumper thing to stop it rubbing until you get to the ortho.
