what happens when you drink out of something with mold on it?

    i recently drank out of 1 of my water bottles and now i am sick. i have discovered today what i believe is mold around the top where the water comes out. my symptoms are sneezing, runny nose, dry-ish cough, and sore throat. should i confront my doctor?

    Yes see a doctor. The mold could have had any thing in it. Maybe even parasites. Hope you feel better soon.

    CONFRONT? your doctor - like it is his fault????

    The cold symptoms are probably just that - a cold. Take some vitamin C, drink lots of water, get plenty of rest. No need to go to the doctor unless you develop a fever.

    This is probably totally unrelated to the mold in the water bottle.

    Some molds are really injurious such as black molds. But, no mold is healthy, so you should be careful and ask your physician.
