1. smoking is only bothering your body one way - Decreasing your stamina, but it will not cause chest pain.
2. The chest pain could be because your body is not use to running and now all of the sudden you ran for 25 minutes.
3. Chest pain could be a side affect of stress that you have in your life.
4. It could also be because your over weight - which i obv don't know if you are or not, but just trying to help.
5. Trying wearing a nicer pair or running/ jogging shoes.
6. Make sure your stretch before and after running/jogging/ working out. If you don't stretch you can pull muscles and that will hurt for days.
7. Try running smaller distances at first. Run for 10 minutes then have a 2 minute walk to cool down, sip on water ( but don't drink a lot ) then run again for 10 minutes. If you do this your body will be able to recover before running again.
8. Take one pain pill before doing any exercise and after about a week or so stop taking the pill because your body will get use to the pain and it will stop hurting. You cold just take a low dose ibuprofen and be fine.
9. Reward your body with health snacks such as - mixed vegetables and fruits.
10. Stop smoking - Eat better - Wear proper clothing - Stretch before doing anything - Keep up with proper hygiene.
This should cover everything you need to know.
