MRSA is methicillin resistant staphylococcus aureus. Its a bacteria that is resistant to all antibiotics and very hard to get rid of.

MRSA stands for Methicillin resistant Staphylococcus aureus. Staph. aureus is a bacteria found on our bodies (part of our normal flora). They are opportunistic bacteria, which means if they are able to colonize in a different place than normal, say in a wound, they can cause infections and diseases.

MRSA strains are known as "super bugs" and are resistant to many different antibiotics. They can be hard to treat because of this.
