The most likely explanation is gynecomastia.

    Common (1 in 10), harmless.

Look it up and see if it fits with what you are experiencing.

The risk of a male getting breast cancer is about 1/100 that of a female getting cancer, and the risk of a female getting Cancer at your age is close to zero.

The chance of you having breast cancer as a 13 year old male is too small to measure.

There are rare childhood cancers that can randomly occur in the breast area, but while rare they are more likely than breast cancer..

If in doubt ask a parent, trusted adult, school nurse or family Dr.

Yes, a very small number of men do get breast cancer.. but at much older age then you.

Sounds like Montgomery glands, but I can't say for sure. These are little bumps encircling the nipple in the areola. These are normal.

It is not a lump, more like a thickening in the nipple. it's on my right side and i am only 13(i am a male). I have heard that this has something to do with puberty but i just wanted to make sure. i get over paranoid about things so i want to make sure i don't have cancer. I know it's possible for males to get that kind of cancer but before i jump to any conclusions i want to get an opinion from someone.
