It strange it takes them thirty minutes to get the fiberglass hard. I use warm water and the fiberglass sets in three to five minutes and then you can walk on it. It must be the bitter cold air you guys hang out in.

I got a new cast today on my ankle. It cost me 260$ ( I live in Canada ) yes i could have just got a normal cast for free but i have money right now and i am dumb cause i get it off on the 24th anyways this is what they did.

    1) Rap my ankle up 2 time in a really soft cotton like stuff that's water proof.
    2) Put some kind of little inflatable brace over the cotton like stuff.
    3) Then put a vary thin cotton like stuff on a bit tighter this time.
    4) Then they put a pink fiber glass around my ankle and then it took 30 mins to go hard.

Now i have a really soft cast and most comfortable cast and when i have to walk i can inflate it and it give me lots of support so i can walk with out any pain. It also has a rubber sol on the bottom and if i ware shoes or shoe it lets me have both my legs level

So what kind of cast do i have ?

I don't know the answer Amber it must be something new that was invented in Canada. I'm happy for you anyway because at the very least it's comfortable. The good news is that it's coming off in twelve days.
