what should i expect at my eye exam?

    im having my eyes checked next friday, i think i might need some glasses because my vision gets blurry trying to read street signs when im driving. what exactly does the eye exam consist of and how long will it be? thanks! oh and someone said not to wear eye makeup to the exam in case they put drops in them??? lol idk
