I was just thinking that only a few months ago,Swine Flu was causing such a panic. Everyone was treating it like it was the Plague. And when the first wave wasn't as bad as they thought, they warned us about the second wave and how deadly that would be. But it never did happen. So,are we out of the woods now? Thanks. X Sarah

It was the same with the bird flu pandemic, it just wasn't as bad as it was made out to be but basically the main sources we're very heavily decontaminated, done a bit of vacuuming.

Same thing that happened to it in 1974...it was a non-event used to scare the American people into giving power to the government for health care legislation . They played the same game 35 years later (its taken that long for democrats to have control of all 3 parts of government). It is a relatively non-leathal flu as epidemics go and results in only 1/20th the number of deaths that are caused by the normal influenza strain that comes every year. The government tried to scare us into thinking that they could handle a MAJOR outbreak -- but they failed miserably and the vaccines (due to bureaucratic stupidity) took 3 times longer to produce. The government insisted on SINGLE doses rather than 3 booster shots. The boosters would have been out within a week or two and provided partial or near full immunity to an already weak virus -- the single dose is produced differently and takes 4 times as long to create. Government does nothing well except create a bogus crisis during a slow news cycle to make us think we need them.
Swine flu was never a threat. The real foe is a government lying to its populace -- note, the U.S. is on the verge of nationalizing its healthcare tomorrow....Swine Flu was the gateway scare.

I think the 3 lil pigs got it and they are no more.. No there has been several people pass from it here and it hits people that have medical problems more that healthy people.
