Check the sodium count of those items, what you might have is some hypertension.

Probably due to the energy drink, you could just be noticing it more w/ that combination b/c the heart has to to work harder after eating in order for the stumach to digest it

Why do they warn you off 'energy drinks'? One reason is the high sugar and caffeine content. BOTH will increase your heart rate. Sugar is a quick energy source, caffeine is a stimulant. Put them in combination and your heart suffers the consequences.

Chocolate, did you know, is naturally caffeinated. So you basically gave yourself a shot of sugar and caffeine and pushed your heart rate up. Once the stuff is metabolized, (broken down and used up), by your body, the effects should wear off.

(Energy drinks are some of the most UNHEALTHY drinks out there on the market. I highly recommend avoiding them. They are just a multi-million dollar corporation marketed fad. Be offended that they are destroying your health to make a buck!- says the paramedic.)
