2 days ago, we were moshing at a local show, and then the people decide to hardcore queer dance. I end up getting kicked in the face and my nose suddenly begins pouring blood. So I went to the bathroom, and plugged my nose up with some paper towels.. The bleeding stopped in about 8 minutes.. After that show, like 3 hours later, I arrive home and I pick all of the blood crust out so I can breathe better.. It was A LOT of blood cottage than a normal bloody nose.. My nose was tender to the touch but no swollen nor crooked or bumpy (although I'm not sure if a slight bump on the left of my upper bridge was there before or not.. I can poke it without pain and it'll go in and out). So yea, I figured I'll go to sleep and see if it gets better. I wake up the next day, still tender and clottage again.. Well now (current day) its not tender to the touch anymore, but simply odd to the touch on the upper bridge. And blood cottage is still reoccurring. Also, another thing that I'm very scared of, when I blow my nose for my right nostril, it feels weird, like stuff from the left nostril is coming out through too.. Could be just my imagination.. I'm scared it might be something bad, possibly a nasal perforation? Somebody said that its just fractured, and since its not out of place or anything to not worry about it.. Also, when I put my head completely down, I feel little bit of pressure on my upper bridge as if fluid is coming down, but nothing drips... Please help!
Another thing, Should I let the crust settle every time it reoccurs? Or should I continue picking it to be able to breathe???
Its a blood clot that reforms.. and about the tilting head thing, it doesn't feel like that as much anymore ever since the incident. I'm assuming that its just because of the soreness which is why I was feeling that?
no smell to it either.. And yea I am able to smell and breathe perfectly..after i pick the blood cottage that is...
No it doesn't bleed.. It just forms clotts for some reason.. Kinda weird for it to make clotts without bleeding.. =/

as u said its a blood clot...that means u r still bleeding...right..?so for that u have to get a padding...gosh its painful...sorry...
n since its clotting...which is a nidus for bacteria...n may cause infection n go to ur brain...
so pls go to an ENT...n yeah u can clear de nose...dont use ur fingers...use some ear buds...good ones though...k...??Posted 2 years ago #
