my dad is said to have those and i am trying to help him with his meal plan. he lives by himself. they say because he is taking cumindon that he has to limit his vit. k. please help me.

where can i find a diet plan for congestive heart failure and renal disease combined?

Tell him his doctor should set him up with a referral to the nutritionist working with the doctors. Accompany him (your dad) to help ask questions and to remember everything the nutritionists says and literature provided. Ask medical records to send you a copy of the interview, (your father will have to sign a release that doesn't cost anything). Make sure the nutritionist knows its for both congestive heart failure and renal disease while on coumadin.
