  4. well i went with something simple. I have staright Vitami E pills with a mili of 200 IU. You may or may not have better chances with a multivitamin with Vitamin E in it. But you should definately try it out. good luck and keep rockin ;)

Solgar (avail at health food stores/brown glass bottle-gold label) makes a Vitamin E 200 IU supplement with mixed tocopherols. The mixed tocopherals is most important when choosing a Vitamin E supplement. Taking a B complex supplement is helpful for hair, too.

I am going to assume that since hair needs proper nutrition to grow strong and healthy---and you want to give your hair a good quality vitamin E supplement. Your hair is going to grow anyway---you just want it to grow stronger. Vitamin e is an antioxidant and it is good for the body, not just the hair. You will benefit by not using a cheap synthetic vitamin E. A brand that has mixed tocopherols and even better mixed tocotrienols or both. A good quality vitamin e is not cheap, but will be well worth spending the extra money for. You notice a big difference in how you will look and feel. There are two brands that i like and recommend 1) A. C. Grace and Company Unique E or 2) Carlsons

It is probably best to ingest the vitamin e and as a side benefit to apply to the scalp. But i believe that it would work just as well if you took it internally.
