Alright, I'm very confused. I'm a 5'10 teen aged female and I'm 230 pounds.
Since the start of March, I've been trying to change my lifestyle around. I cut out all the junk and fast food that I could about a year ago, but Last February I decided to start exercising. Monday, Wednesday, and Friday I run a half-mile making sure to keep my heart rate up. Tuesday and Thursday I do weight training, in small, high intensity intervals that add up to 30 minutes of training. My diet is 1100 calories( a little under where it should be, but I can only eat certain foods due to one of the medications I'm on) and it's composed mostly of Vegetables, grains, and fruit. I try to eat meat at least once a day, but all meat really makes my stomach and chest hurt.
I even changed my depression medication to a type that doesn't cause weight gain. But I've only lost one pound since the beginning of March! I don't think I've gained more than half a pound of muscle(and even that is stretching it) but I thought I would have lost at least ten pounds by now. It's really hard for me to stay motivated, but I still make myself do it. I thought because I was so young and because my previous lifestyle was so inactive that I would be able to lose 70 pounds before Christmas this year, but at this rate I won't even be close.
What can I do to cause fat loss? I started exercising to look better, but now I'm just worried about my health.
