My right eye always has a few visible red... lines (veins?) and my left eye has this like PATCH of red that has been red for like a YEAR! it is SO ANNOYING!!!! I do not wear contacts or glasses. Am I like mildly allergic to something found everywhere because this doesn't go away with location!
My eyes have been this irritatingly red, and I travel now and then, and have been to a fair amount of places, and it always is red! I've been to...
    Utah- for a week
Wyoming- for a bit over a week
Nicaragua- for a few weeks to a month
    Maine- for like two weeks!
California (I live here) ALL over california though, mountains to desert, for semi-long periods of time, and my eyes won't stop BEING RED.

    Why?

I suggest you go see some doctor about it. My guess, some allergic reaction to something you wear or make contact with daily.

Aside from allergies, it can be from eye strain. Eye strain can come from being on the computer too much, needing glasses, or not getting enough sleep. If you are on the computer a lot for work or fun, stop every 30-60 minutes and look at something farther away for a few minutes - my eye doctor said that's like stretching after sitting too long, and that eye muscles can actually "cramp" from focusing at one distance for too long. Then close your eyes for a minute to rest them from the light, and go back to the computer. A cooling eye mask to relieve pressure also helps.

hmm.. do you use sun screen or something? I get that too but it's because when you wear sun screen it can react and when it's near your eyes can make them red.

That's all I can think it could be that and severe hayfever, you should see a doctor.

Probably blepharitis - try refresh plus drops. Also warm compresses in the morning.

I have mild allergies too, and my eyes get like this all the time. You could try using allergy drops or taking benadryl(sp?). Or a doctor might be able to prescribe something to help.

    Ever heard of eye drops?
If that doesn't work visit the eye doctor you probably don't have pink eye because it's very itchy and makes your eyes all yucky and you would just know but you should definitely go see a doctor because red eyes are not normal.

Are your eyes photosensitive? That is, is it difficult to look into bright light?

I once had an eye infection where the only major symptoms were redness and photo-sensitivity. If you aren't experiencing itching or watering or mucus production, I would recommend seeing a doctor about it. And do NOT use Visine unless directed to by your doctor. If it is some kind of infection, Visine will make it look like it has gone away, when it really hasn't.
