actually some ppl look really good in glasses!! LASIK is reallllllllllllllllllllllllyyyyyyy expensive!!!! and people who have bad eyesight are foreced to wear glasses for 4 months! and some people can't even afford contacts or put them in. i hope you get terrible eyesight one day and are foreced to wear glasses

i understan for seein, but why can't dey jus get contacts or lasik, or something. every1 looks lyk such a dork in them. i hate da ppl who keep on saying dat they are an additional accessory and look "SO CUTE" on people, especially kids, who look the absolute dorkiest and nerdiest in them. no matter the FANCY style, no1 can wear glasses and look good. and some ppl have such weak glasses dat someone such as myself could see right through them, do dey really need them that badly for **** such as skool, its just a damn boad, walk the h*ll up to it. couldn't dey survive w/o dese stupid *** glasses. contacts are jus so much easier, no one can see them, and they only see your eyes, not those stupid coke bottle thingamabobbers. i dont have glasses, but my brother has the weakest pear in da world, i can see perfectly when i put them on, and yet he keeps insisting he needs dem. i call him names but it neva workks. i hate when my mom says dey are so beautiful on him and his friends love it. he looks like SUCH A DORK! wat do u guyz think of glasses

Personally I think it is just a personal preference for the most part. However, there are some eye conditions to where it can inhibit some people from wearing contacts. When your talking about Lasik eye surgery, not everyone has that kind of money because Lasik is considered cosmetic so it is usually not covered thru insurance.

That's an awful thing to say about people. It doesn't matter why people may or may not need glasses nor is it your place to judge people on why they wear them or not. Personally,if someone wants to wear glasses no matter how badly they need them, it is fine with me. And I know so many people that have glasses and they look nothing short of great with them on. I think when it comes time for you to have the need to wear them (yes,we all do at some point in our lives!), you won't like it if you're questioned or judged on why you wear them. As for me,I started having headaches as a teenager and needed them because I had trouble seeing, and I am thankful I still have them, too. I think you need to stop judging people for what they wear on their face, and start embracing who they are on the inside.

I love glasses! I've been wearing them since I was four!

Glasses help with spelling. Try it.
Just for future reference... the quality of answers you get (here, and life in general) depends on the quality of the question asked. My answer would be completely different if you had taken the time to write a good question.
But, when you get glasses you'll understand. Until then, keep going to school.
