No idea, but for goodness' sake get him to a doctor. If something is wrong with his spine you need to sort it out as soon as you possibly can.

Why is my boyfriends lower spine gone numb?

My boyfriend has been experiencing constant numbness, and occasional pain in his lower back for about 4 years now. He says he cannot remember anything that happened that could have caused it. When I press on the spot, he says he feels the sensation of my hand but no pain if I pinch it. It never hurts when hes doing physical labor or working out, yet it hurts when he sits for long periods of time. Also, in the spot, on his spine, the skin is darker than the rest of his skin.
I am really worried, any ideas as to what it could be?
he also has frequent headaches, not sure if its relatedPosted 2 years ago # -
It's possible he has a pinched nerve in his lower back. Headaches can also be caused by pinched nerves caused by a misalignment of the spine and/or neck.
He should do 1 of 2 things, see a doctor *who will use invasive and possibly painful methods to treat this* or see a chiropractor *who can adjust him rather painlessly*
I would try the chiropractor first myself.
