Read the question and my answer just above yours. And yes, you do deserve some preaching. Are you aware that oxycontin is the most widely abused drug (because everyone becomes addicted, those who they are not prescribed for) and that it is extremely addictive? It's not much different than using heroin. Seriously, they are both opiates and oxycontin is the same as Methadone, which is used to detox heroin addicts. You are also hurting those of us who need these drugs for their intended purpose, to control the pain we try to live with every single day of our lives. Doctors are too afraid to prescribe this medication because of the high abuse rate on the street. Many people who suffer from chronic pain commit suicide because the pain is too hard to live with, believe me since I've been pretty close more than a few times. I can barely sit here and type, I can barely walk, I stay sick from the pain and it will cut my life short because of the stress the pain puts on my heart. That's a proven fact. There are thousands of people like me so when you choose to take that pill think of me and others like me and think about what you are doing to us. How you are contributing to the misery of our lives. And yes, not only can you enjoy the high so much you will eventually become addicted you also never know if you will wake up again since medications such as these are respiratory depressants.
