Ok well tomorrow...I am going to go see if i need glasses....now think i am a 12 year old girl and i went to my school nurse and she has one of those u know with the letters on there and you have to have a little cup over 1 eye...well i did that..it turned out bad ): i am really scared to go there...will anyone tell me what they will do on the VERY first eye appointment??

don't worry it's ok :) i didnt even go to school when i went to the eye doctor first time.. firstly you'll tell you dont see distant (or maybe near) objects well and then they will make you look at a machine, it's like looking at a microscope. you'll see a road and at the end of the road you'll see a house or a scene like that, which goes blurry and clear continuously.. the annoying thing is you shouldn't blink your eyes much, doctor warned me all the time for this. then you look at the letters with different glasses, tell which one gives the best vision, that's it. i started to use contact lenses at 13, the first time was scary but it's been 8 years it's very easy to use, despite the allergy i have every year in springs..
